What are the steps in the Mold Collapsible Core machining process?
What are the steps in the Mold Collapsible Core machining process?
We all know that no matter what product has its own process requirements, the more precise the requirements, the stricter the requirements. Take our new product, Mold Collapsible Core, for example, it took more than a year of research and development before it was successfully launched. So what to do in the first place, to arrange the right steps.
(1) For the processing of the bottom surface, the processing quality must be guaranteed;
(2) Find the benchmark of the casting blank, and check the allowance of 2D and 3D profiles;
(3) Rough machining of 2D and 3D profiles, as well as machining of non-installation and non-working planes, including safety platform surfaces, side reference surfaces, etc.;
(4) Align the side reference plane to ensure machining accuracy;
(5) Semi-finishing of 2D and 3D profiles, and finishing of installation surfaces, including contact surfaces, installation surfaces, working surfaces, etc.;
(6) Perform semi-finishing on various guide surfaces and guide holes, leave a certain margin on the finishing process reference hole and height reference surface, and record the data;
(7) Check and review the machining accuracy, and then carry out the inlay operation;
(8) The alignment of the datum surface of the process datum hole should be checked before finishing, and the allowance of the insert should be checked;
(9) Finish machining of 2D and 3D profiles, as well as guide surfaces and guide holes;
Our new Mold Collapsible Core, in addition to the above process arrangements, of course, re-inspection is also very important. The finer the product, the better the quality.
